PM Free Solar Panel Scheme has been started to provide free solar panels facility for irrigation in agriculture to the farmers of the country. Through this scheme (PM Free Solar Panel Yojana), the main goal of the government is to reduce the dependence of farmers on diesel and electric irrigation pumps and increase their income by supporting them in the purchase of solar powered solar panels. So that farmers will be able to do irrigation work without buying electricity or diesel and can earn better income every month by selling the electricity generated from solar panels in DISCOM.

Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Solar Yojana
The scheme will start with building 10,000 MW more plants on the land and providing 1.75 million off grid agricultural solar pumps.

1 mega watt plant will provide 11 lakh units of energy in 1 year, your formed energy company will buy the unit for 30 paise.
Two types of benefits will be given to the farmers through this KUSUM Yojana through the Prime Minister.
