But now you do not need to be afraid of long and wide electricity bills. Yes, now the government has operated the facility of electricity subsidy to reduce electricity payment.
In fact, the state cabinet of Madhya Pradesh has started a scheme to provide subsidized electricity under Indira Graha Jyoti Yojana to solve the electricity payment problem of all the poor sections of the state, in which only 100 rupees will be given to the electricity consumers of the state. Only electricity payment has to be made. The benefit of this scheme is being given to all the poor people of the state, whose income is less than 10,000 per month.
Now consumers are being given subsidy facility to pay electricity bill at the rate of Re 1 unit only. That is, now consumers will have to bear the cost of just Re 1 unit for electricity payment.
According to the information received, the Provincial Managing Director of the state, while giving information, said that since last month, about 34 lakh beneficiaries of the state are taking advantage of this subsidy. Under Indira Gandhi Grah Yojana, a subsidy of Rs 300 to 512 has been given to every consumer.
A relief of Rs 134.38 crore has been given to all the consumers of the company sector. Giving further information, Tomar said that among the 15 districts of the entire Madhya Pradesh, Indore district has the highest rate of about 4.5 lakh units to 100 units and the subsidy benefit of about Rs 13 crore has been given to the consumers.
Appeal To Consumers
On the other hand, the Proprietorship Managing Director Tomar has appealed to all the electricity bill paying consumers to fill the electricity bill on time. If the electricity bill is not paid on time, then there is a possibility of disconnection of electricity connection, so stay away from such activities.
