Sources in the secretariat said that it has been decided to keep on hold 26 schemes in the state in which new schemes have been launched and which have been in dispute since the beginning.

Top officials of the department have been instructed to make a list of all the plans and projects of their department and review it together with the cabinet ministers. However, all the schemes of the department have also been directed to be submitted to the Chief Minister’s Office.

Sources said that any scheme or project attached to the Center has been asked to be completed expeditiously. As per the decision to give AIIMS to Rajkot, the remaining works are planned to be completed soon. The project for which land acquisition and government process has already started will also be approved by changing the format.

The projects include Rajkot-Ahmedabad Express Highway, Rajkot International Airport and Semi High Speed ​​Rail Project. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel will review all the decisions taken. This project is not going to be canceled but may change.

The decision to hand over government-owned and waste land to industrial groups in the state’s agriculture department is likely to be postponed, as it has only benefited the industrialists. Apart from this, the state government also wants to make changes in the policy made in various departments. The policy on electronic vehicles made this year is also likely to be reviewed.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s government is bringing five new policies for various departments in the state. It has been decided to expedite the completion of central projects connecting Gujarat such as Dedicated Freight Corridor and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor as these two corridors connect Gujarat with Delhi and Mumbai. The Central Government is taking a direct interest in this project.
