  1. The age of the applicant should be 60 (60) years or more.
  2. The applicant should live in a rural area and have a score of 0 to 20 in the BPL list below the poverty line.
  3. For urban area applicants should be included in the BPL list prepared in the context of poverty alleviation programs of the Ministry of Urban Housing and Property Elevation of the Central Government.
  4. Both spouses eligible for Vayvand scheme can apply.
