The country runs various schemes for the well-being of the citizens, the public. In which the schemes of the Government of India and the schemes of the Government of Gujarat have also been jointly implemented. The Government of Gujarat runs women oriented schemes, self employment schemes, Korona assistance schemes and disability welfare schemes. Apart from this, social welfare schemes are working for the benefit of the citizens through social security schemes.
Many schemes are run by the Commissioner of Gujarat Government, Office of Cottage and Village Industries. In which Dattopant Thengadi Artisan Interest Assistance Scheme, Jyoti Gramodyog Vikas Yojana, Manav Kalyanaan Yojana, Industrial Cooperative Society Package Scheme, Gramodyog Vikas Kendra and Shri Vajpayee Bank Cable Schemes are running. Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana has been implemented to provide self-employment to educated unemployed youth in urban and rural areas.

Information About Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana Gujarat Detail
It is very important that educated unemployed youth, handicapped and blind youth from urban and rural areas of Gujarat get the opportunity of self-employment. For which bank credit will be provided by Shri Bajpai Bank Cable Scheme. The vajpayee bankable yojana is aimed at promoting cottage industries and encouraging them to start their own businesses and become self-reliant.
Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get credit in industry, service and trade as well as subsidy at fixed rate (limit).
Eligibility
The following eligibility criteria have been fixed for availing the benefit of Vajpayee Bankable Yojana.
- The age of the beneficiary should be 18 to 65 years to avail the benefit of this scheme.
- The beneficiary should have at least educational qualification up to standard-4.
- Beneficiary will be eligible for at least 3 months training from a private institute suitable for the business.
- Beneficiary will be considered eligible for this scheme even if he / she has undergone 1 month training from a government recognized institute.
- Beneficiary will be considered valid even if he / she has 1 year of business experience or will be considered eligible for the scheme even if the beneficiary himself is an inherited artisan.
- The benefit of this scheme will also be available to the disabled or blind citizens.
- Under this scheme, the beneficiary will be eligible for credit through vajpayee bankable yojana bank list such as nationalized banks, co-operative banks, public sector banks, private banks.
- Vajpayee bankable yojana Gujarat benefit a person will get only once. Those who have availed the benefit of such scheme by this department or any other department will not be eligible for the benefit of this scheme.
- Active SHGs or graded groups will be eligible for this scheme.

Required Documents
The following documents will be required to avail the Vajpayee Bankable Scheme.
- Application form in prescribed form (to be submitted in two copies)
- 2 passport size photographs (both must be attached with the application form.)
- Election card
- Aadhaar card
- Birth Registration Certificate / School Leaving Certificate (LC)
- Certificate of Educational Qualification (Marksheet of those who have passed the last examination)
- Certificate of competent officer of caste (for Scheduled Caste-SC and Scheduled Tribe-ST)
- Certificate of Civil Surgeon / Competent Officer of Disability / Blind Percentage in case of 40% or more disabled / blind beneficiaries
- Certificate of training / experience.
- Attach the original price list with VAT / TIN number of the equipment to be purchased.
- The basis of the proposed place of business. (Receipt of lease / lease agreement / house tax receipt original.
- Consent letter / electric bill of the landlord if electricity is to be consumed.
Assistance rates on loans
Assistance rates for various castes have been fixed by the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries Gujarat. And under Vajpayee Bankable Loan Scheme, support rates for industry, service and trade will be as follows.

How to Apply for Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana Gujarat
To avail this loan scheme under Vajpayee Bankable Yojana 2021, you have to get a free application form from the ‘District Industry Center’ of your respective district. The form should be submitted at Jila Udyog Kendra by attaching the required documents with the Application Form.
