The epidemic of Corona has spread in the country and in the state of Gujarat. Many mothers and fathers of children have died in the state during the Corona epidemic. The state government is sensitive to ensure that such orphaned children benefit from all kinds of schemes. “Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana” has been implemented to help orphaned children in the epidemic of Covid-19.

And “Mukhyamantri bal seva yojana” has been implemented to provide support to such children for maintenance, education, health, training, educational loans, self-employment and various departments.

Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana

Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana is given below.

  • Children between the ages of 0 and 21 who have lost both their parents during the Corona Virus period will benefit from the “Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana”. The benefit of this scheme will be available regardless of the income limit.
  • The scheme will also benefit the child whose parents died earlier and the adoptive parents of such children also died during the Corona epidemic and such re-orphaned child. The income limit of such children should not be taken into consideration.
  • If one (1) parent (mother or father) of the child dies in the previous time or before the time of Corona and the other parent (mother or father) dies in Coroid (Covid) time, the destitute child is also entitled to the benefit of “Mukhyamantri Bal Sewa Yojana”. Will happen. Do not consider income limits.

Conditions of Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana

Conditions for Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana is given below.

  • The benefits of this scheme will be available from Mar-2020 until the end of the Corona epidemic.
  • Orphans who are natives of Gujarat and have been living permanently in the state of Gujarat for the last 10 years will be eligible for the benefit of “mukhyamantri bal sewa yojana Gujarat”.
  • If the destitute child is older than 10 years, a separate bank account will have to be opened for such child. The DBT (Direct benefit Transfer) will be credited to the child’s account every month.
  • Under the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, if a destitute child is of school going age, assistance will be available only as long as the schooling continues.

Note: – While in case of a child of 10 years or less, a bank account (Single Name) has to be opened in the name of the person who is responsible for the upbringing of the orphan child. And monthly assistance will be paid from DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in the same bank.

When a child is 10 years of age or younger, he / she will have to open a separate bank account in the child’s name, in which assistance will be paid through DBT.

Who can avail the benefits of Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana?

The Corona epidemic has left many children destitute, with many losing their mothers and fathers. While some children have lost the umbrella of either the mother or the father. The accidental destitution of such orphans raises questions about their future and education. One such guardian has also announced benefits under the “Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana” for lost orphaned children.

How much assistance will be given in Mukhyamantri Bal Sahay Yojana?

After the adult consideration of the state government to provide assistance to the children who have lost one (1) parent, “Children with one parent earn Rs. The state government has decided to provide assistance of Rs. 2000 / – (two thousand). The amount of this assistance will be paid by the Hon’ble Chief Minister on 02/08/2021 through online DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Where to apply for Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana?

  • To avail Mukhyamantri bal sewa yojana, the prescribed application form should be submitted along with the documents at “District Child Protection Unit”
  • The Sponsorship & Foster Care Approval Committee (SFCAC) of the concerned district will have to decide to approve / reject the application within 7 days from the date of receipt of the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana form

Summary of Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of Gujarat has implemented “mukhyamantri bal seva yojana” for orphans to fulfill various responsibilities.

  • The destitute child will be entitled to Rs. 4000 / – (four thousand) per child per month till the child completes 21 years. The month in which the child is orphaned will be eligible for assistance.
  • The benefit of After Care scheme will be availed by the State Government irrespective of the income limit.
  • Beneficiary children will be considered eligible for Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Post Graduate level courses of any stream. Eligible for Skill Development Training provided by government approved standards.
  • Priority will be given to the destitute and beneficiary children for admission in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGB-only for girls), residential schools, Samaras hostels and government hostels run by the state / central government for education.

Apart from “mukhyamantri bal sewa yojana”, the Gujarat government has given many benefits to the children who have become destitute due to the Koro epidemic. Provision has been made for the benefit of destitute children by covering the Department of Education, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Department of Health and Family Welfare.
